For autumn part see course No. 116219. The course builds on the interdisciplinary and disciplinary skills acquired in the previous semester: it increases students' interdisciplinary collaboration skills while applying in-depth disciplinary knowledge

Course Contents
The central themes in the spring semester are to: increase theoretical interdisciplinary knowledge as related to tropical agriculture and development; increase experience in interdisciplinary group work; apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to complex land use issues in developing countries; and improve report writing skills. The course includes training in use of theoretical disciplinary and interdisciplinary frameworks in analysis and report structuring; and critical analysis and discussion of secondary data.
