Some of the key concepts relevant to the study program are systems thinking in the context of global agriculture and food systems in transition, and learning and communication theory as relevant to the students developing as facilitators of change. During the rest of the semester, they take part in classroom discussions around selected themes in AFSE, and in at least two synchronous videoconferences and related chat rooms.
