Kursets målsætning
To give the students an understanding of the theories and methods of ethology. To give them practical experience in using common behavioural tests and observational methods. To train them in making small independent projects in ethology.
 
Kursusindhold
The first week sill start with lectures and on-farm visits. In the second week different tests applied on different farm animal species will be presented. The students are expected to use these in a small group project, that is to be delivered in week three. Concurrently the individual students are to write a report, also in week three.
 
Undervisningsform
Lectures, on farm visits, a small group project. A theoretical paper written by each student.
