The course builds on Forest and Natural Resources Economics and Policy 1. In forest economics, investment theory is supplemented with, e.g. portfolio theory inclusive of dynamic optimisation, and using deterministic as well as stochastic approach. The fundamentals of taxation of forestry are studied. In forest policy the extension mainly concerns economic analysis of the production of non-market goods, including the theory of public regulation. | |||
