Most theory will be covered by self study, but it will be supported by two days of theoretical and practical teaching, and 10 sets of weekly on-line exercises. | |||||||||||||||

The course covers laboratory animal pathology and health needed for qualification within animal experimentation on FELASA category D level Having finished the course the student will have the following: Knowledge The student knows - important laboratory animal diseases - principles of health monitoring in laboratory animal colonies Skills The student can - descripe microscopic and macroscopic pathology of laboratory animals - diagnose relevant pathological conditions in laboratory animals - understand laboratory animal health reports Competencies The student can - take responsibility for protecting the health of animals for experiments | |||||||||||||||
