| The purpose of this course is: Surgical approach to the oncologic patient. Pre-op-workup including diagnostic surgical procedures. Surgical management of the most common companion animal cancers. Post-operative management, adjunctive therapy. Complications. Prognosis, client communication and consulting. Assignment : Each participant makes procedures for surgical management of oncology patients for their clinic. The use of radiotherapy in companion animal oncology. Principles of radiotherapy. Diagnostic workup before treatment. Planning of treatment | |
