| The participants will be taught about microsurgical instruments, ergonomics and a number of different microsurgical standard techniques. The practicals are mainly focusing on microsurgical suturing and anastomosis of blood vessels. This course will not include permanent cannulation. | The aim is to train the participants in basic microsurgery through theoretical and practical teaching. Knowledge The student knows - the principles of basic microsurgery - how to handle and work with microsurgical instruments - about ergonomics during work with microsurgery - about a number of different microsurgical standard techniques Skills The student can - correctly handle and work with microsurgical instruments - perform microsurgical suturing and anastomosis of blood vessels in laboratory rats Competencies The student can - apply the knowledge and skills obtained in laboratory animal experiments | |
