. Having completed the course, the student should be able to: Evaluate and manage selected surgical possibilities of acute orthopedic cases . hindlimb, frontlimb and pelvic fractures . Evaluate and assess patients with clinical signs demanding neurosurgical intervention . Use the principles of the evaluation of radiographs incl CT and MRI scans of orthopedic and neurosurgical patients . Use the principles of management of patients with chronic joint disease . Use the principles of rehabilitation of surgical patients .
