Having completed the course, the student should be able to: . Know the nessesary diagnostic workup in the oncological patient . Know about staging and grading . Know principles of of diagnostics and staging for the oncological patient . Know grading principles . Know WHO staging criteria . Capable of using imaging as an aid in the process of stagind patients . Be familiar with diagnotics, staging and planning of treatment of different cancertypes . Know veterinart use of chemotherapy in details . Planning of chemotherapy . Implementation of treatment and follow up . Safety in relation to the use of chemotherapy | |

The purpose of this course is: Diagnostic work up incl. staging and grading of the oncology patient, diagnostic tools incl biopsy principles. Staging and grading of the most common companion animal cancers. Assignment: Each participant makes diagnostic procedures for staging and grading of oncology patients for their clinic. | |
