Kursus resuméThe objective of the course is to give the PhD student an introduction to handling laboratory animals as well as using animals in biomedical research. The course covers the recommendations at category C level according to the European Council Convention.

Rammer for UndervisningThe course is arranged as e-lectures, group work, own reading, plenum sessions and practicals during a two-week period at Frederiksberg Campus.

Begrænset deltagerantalMaximum number of participants: 48. PhD students from KU/Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences have priority. A maximum of 20% PhD students from other Danish universities will be admitted.
 
Kursusindhold
The course covers the recommendations at category C level according to the European Council Convention.
 
Undervisningsform
The course consists of e-lectures and group work followed up by plenum sessions for approximately 80 hours, and 20 hours of practicals. The students must spend approximately 120 hours of own reading to pass the examination.

Deltagerbetaling
Free of charge for PhD students under the Open Market for Postgraduate Courses in DK and from NOVA-partners. Campus Units partners: DKK 13,200. All other participants: DKK 19,800.
 
Kursus omkostninger
All PhD students will be charged DKK 3,000 for materials. For other types of participants this is included in the course fee.
